Privacy Policy

wristping.com ("we", "us", "the site") is operated on a strict data-minimization principle: we collect only what is required to deliver the service. This policy explains exactly what that is.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Telegram chat identifier (optional, only if you create a saved search)

If you choose to set up a saved search to receive Telegram alerts, you provide your Telegram chat identifier. We store this identifier so we can send you alerts that match your saved-search criteria. We do not see your Telegram username, contacts, messages, or any other profile information — only the chat identifier you give us.

1.2 Outbound-click audit log

When you click an outbound link from the site to an eBay listing, we log the following at the moment of the click:

• The eBay listing identifier you clicked
• The page you came from on our site (HTTP Referer header)
• Your IP address as reported by Cloudflare's CF-Connecting-IP header
• Your browser's User-Agent string
• The timestamp of the click

We use this log to detect fraudulent clicks, abuse of the affiliate program, and traffic anomalies. The log is not used for advertising, profiling, or retargeting.

1.3 What we do not collect

• We do not require, request, or store email addresses, names, phone numbers, or postal addresses.
• We do not store payment information; we do not process payments at all.
• We do not run third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no third-party trackers).
• We do not set cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. As of the date of this policy, we do not set any cookies at all in normal use of the site.

2. Third parties

The site relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs what they do with information you share with them:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — provides our CDN, DDoS protection, and TLS termination. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP, User-Agent, timestamp) per its own privacy policy.
• eBay Inc. — the destination of every outbound link from this site. Once you click through, eBay's privacy policy applies. eBay may attribute the click to us via the eBay Partner Network for commission purposes.
• Telegram Messenger Inc. — used only if you opt into saved-search alerts. We send messages to the chat identifier you provide; Telegram delivers them.

3. Data retention

• Saved searches and their Telegram chat identifiers are kept until you delete the saved search through the site, at which point they are removed.
• The outbound-click audit log is retained indefinitely for fraud-and-abuse analysis. Individual rows can be deleted on request — see Section 5.

4. Legal bases for processing (for users in the EU/UK)

Where applicable: we process the Telegram chat identifier on the basis of your consent (you provide it explicitly when creating a saved search). We process the click audit log on the basis of legitimate interest (preventing fraud against the affiliate program).

5. Your rights

• You can delete any saved search at any time through the site, which removes the associated chat identifier.
• You can request deletion of click-log rows associated with your IP address by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
• If you are in the EU/UK, you also have rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) — exercise them by emailing us at the address on the contact page.

6. Children

wristping.com is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
